Black Cinema: The Vintage Years

Through November 23

As film enters the 21st century, black actors, actresses, directors, writers and producers have become significant financial and creative forces in the entertainment industry. Morris Museum is pleased to present this fascinating exhibition that chronicles the history and turbulent journey of the black film industry and the black actors’ and directors’ struggles for equality during the 20th century.
